Over time, I have needed money. I have decided that a good source of that money would be running A Time for Heroes. I have a lvl 20 monk with 55 capabilities, just one question, how do I actually do this in a way thats fast and effective?

I used to do that run.

I used this build :

It should still work, did it not too long ago for the group I finished DD with.
Only thing is if a destroyer of deeds has spawned, you need to /resign.

When you enter:
Cast Watchful spirit, Balth spirit and Blessed aura on yourself.

Wait to regain energy, I used to bring a necro hero with BiP, just to speed things up.

Before running into lava, cast prot spirit and shield of regeneration.
Keep up PS and SoR at ALL times.

On the run to the Great Destroyer you will probably be knocked down, recast SoR to regain hp once you have recovered.
Once you get to the Great Destroyer, Cast visage#1, when that visage is coming off, cast visage #2, back and fourth, repeat until you've finished.

To actually kill the Great Destroyer, cast Illusion of Pain on him. Try to keep on him as it will heal him if it comes off.

You don't NEED to keep Illusion of Pain on. Surviving comes first, and If you're low on energy and don't think you have enough to keep up everything else as well, let it come off and regain energy before killing again

It takes some practice but it's fairly easy once you get the hang of it.

monks can earn better stuffs .. go run shard of orr with 2 more other players ( use the 3 man SoO build on pvxwiki ) and try your luck. you might even get a BDS and if its a good attribute, its worth alot.
